Requirements
- 4+ years building production ML or retrieval systems
- Deep familiarity with approximate nearest-neighbor search (HNSW, IVF)
- Comfortable reading and writing Rust for performance-critical paths
- Experience operating stateful distributed systems at scale
Responsibilities
- Improve recall and latency of our vector search index
- Design sharding and replication strategy for multi-tenant indexes
- Partner with customers migrating from pgvector or Elasticsearch
